Confirmation
Your request has been received. We will identify the type of request, tell you if we need proportionate identity or clarification information and respond within the time required by law. If the request concerns an insurer or another separate organisation, we will explain the responsible route.
Direct-marketing opt-out
You can use the unsubscribe or opt-out in a marketing message for the quickest channel-specific change. You can also use this page. We may keep a minimal suppression record so that we do not add you back to the channel you stopped.
Data-protection complaints
If you believe Everlife has used personal information unfairly, inaccurately, insecurely or without sufficient explanation, select "Make a data-protection complaint". We provide an electronic route, acknowledge the complaint within the current legal period and respond without undue delay.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would welcome the opportunity to investigate first, but this is not a condition of contacting the ICO.
- Record date and channel received.
- Classify the right or complaint without requiring the customer to know the legal label.
- Identify all relevant controllers.
- Verify identity proportionately.
- Search CRM, email, telephony, recordings, forms, calendars, ad-platform audiences and vendors as relevant.
- Record exemptions, redactions and the reason for any refusal or extension.
